Repurposed Glass Insulator Candlelabra
A great friend put this great, old light fixture in my hands that was originally some blue "spatterware" that resembled blue and white swirl enamel/porcelain. I stripped the wires, gave it a thorough cleaning to remove all the dust and spiderwebs and went to work. The distressing was achieved by using Kilz spray paint with yellow paint as the second coat. I drilled holes through the top of the glass insulators and attached them with some eye bolts so that I could hang some chain with used dog tags to catch and reflect light. An old bell hangs from the center. Some vintage garden faucet handles alway are mounted on the arms.
