Shreveport/Louisiana Map Overhauled Telephone Table
Hey folks! Just about as soon as I finished the Yardstick Telephone Table my friend, Tracy, had another one that matched it perfectly. A series!
I decided to give this one a map treatment. I had a large, classroom size, map of Louisiana that I thought would work perfectly. I used the northwest portion for the top that included the Shreveport to Ruston areas and down to Mansfield and Coushatta. I also used some of my large gauge stick to edge the top of the table so you wouldn't have to worry about something sliding off.
Some of my new, old stock of chrome metal edging got some use again, just like the last one. It makes it really pop! On the drawer face, I used the Louisiana pelican artwork from the map. Worked out great and really complimented the silver paint.
