Hey folks! Last weekend, my buddy, Justin (Muddy Water Resurrections), and I hit the road with a trailer in tow on a lead from a good friend. Her great uncle, Mr. C. D. Finley, had a small barn structure that he used to keep all his this and thats along with all the usual stuff to take care of cattle and the acreage.
We ended up getting a lot of great boards in varying degrees of excellence.
Lots of this wood will go toward a couple of Little Library projects for two cities here in North Louisiana that you'll see in progress very soon, right here on GadgetSponge. What's left will help create lots of cool other creations. Look at that wood!
We also got to pick through all the stuff that was still there. Is there anything better!
Check out this awesome electric fence control box. Can you say lamp!
Lots of small knick knacks to spice up all kinds of future projects.
What do you do with a vintage vacuum head? I don't know but I had to grab it. It's way too cool to pass up. The sea shell was wired as a lamp. How about that!
Mr. Finley had a knack for cutting out these amusing little characters and hand painting each.
I'm always looking for booth props to keep things interesting. This will make a great booster seat for something else. This was originally created by Mr. Finley.
How about this galvanized sprayer and large canary cage!
And here's some things I picked up recently at an estate sale and other places that are recent prized possessions.
